SMS Privacy Policy

Clinical Colleagues, Inc. and its affiliate (collectively, “CCI”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs how we treat the Personal Information that we collect and receive from you in connection with your use of the SMS Service (“Service”), which we make available to you through a third-party service provider. This Policy incorporates and is incorporated into the CCI SMS Terms and Conditions.
By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. CCI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or change this Policy at any time with or without prior notice to you. The date of the last update will be posted at the bottom of this Policy for your convenience. This Policy, and any changes, are effective as soon as posted. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to the Policy constitutes your full acceptance of those changes.
“Personal Information” is information that individually identifies you, such as your mobile phone number or user/screen name, as well as any Personal Information that you choose to include in messages you send through the Service. This Privacy Policy explains how CCI collects, uses, and discloses personal information about our contractors, providers, clients, customers, prospective customers, and visitors to our website at CCIanesthesia.com.
Collection of Personal Information.
Information collected directly from you: CCI may collect personal information directly from you, for example through a web form, during registration, while making an appointment, while setting up an account with us, or during the recruiting, contracting, or onboarding processes. Personal information we collect directly from you may include first and last name, address, email address, phone number and other information related to the recruiting, contracting, or onboarding processes.
Information collected about you: Through the use of the Service, CCI will receive the following information from our third-party service provider: your mobile phone number, the text of messages that you send to us or other users of the Service, any user or screen name that you select in connection with the Service, as well as any comments or feedback regarding the Service that you send to us.
Information collected from your device: Our website may use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other similar technologies automatically to collect certain information from your device including, for example, your IP address, date and time of your visit, browser and operating system information, referring website address, and other information about how you interact with the website.
How CCI uses Personal Information about you
We use Personal Information to (a) provide you with the Service, (b) process and respond to inquiries, (c) improve the Service, (d) if necessary, contact you with important announcements or messages, (e) conduct research, and (f) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients and partners.
Each message that you send through the Service (either to us or to other users of the Service) is stored on our servers. We retain these messages on our servers. CCI utilizes servers and services owned by third parties.

We will not rent or sell your Personal Information to other companies or individuals, unless we have your consent. We may use or disclose such information in any of the following limited circumstances:

- We may share aggregated information with others without further notice. An example of this would be the number of people who used the Service in a given month or the total number of texts sent in a given week.
How CCI protects your Personal Information.
CCI takes precautions to ensure the security of your Personal Information, including ensuring that our third-party service providers protect the security of your Personal Information. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts. You should note that in using the Service, your information will travel through third party infrastructures which are not under our control (such as a third-party SMS delivery platform or your carrier network). We cannot protect, nor does this Policy apply to, any information that you transmit to other users. You should never transmit personal or identifying information to other users.
CCI’s collection and use of personal information will also be subject to and in conformity with all applicable law and regulation.
Policy for Children
We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data, we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.
California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.
If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Application, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Application. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Application, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.
