Daniel Mark Carlson, M.D.
Regional Medical Officer

Dr. Mark Carlson has more than 20 years of clinical and managerial experience in anesthesia services, and is board certified in anesthesiology.

Dr. Carlson has more than 15 years of leadership experience serving as President, Managing Partner and Founding Member of a Texas-based anesthesia group, as well as Co-Chairman of the anesthesia services for a hospital within the CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Texas. He completed a Fellowship in Acute and Chronic Pain Management and an Anesthesia Residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.

Dr. Carlson earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and a Bachelor of Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
