Alma is a wonderful city located in central Michigan, right where the M46 and US127 come together. Alma’s centralized location means the beauty of Michigan is easily accessible!
With over 10 local parks and many more nearby, Alma is perfect for outdoor fun. Of course, there is far more to see beyond Alma. Not too far away are both Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, which offer nearly endless opportunities by means of recreation. Alma really is in the middle of everything!
Alma is a great place to not only live, but also a great place to raise a family. With over 15 highly rated schools, 10 private and 5 public, education will be of no concern here. Locally there is Alma College, an excellent school which provides opportunities for the arts and culture that rival even larger cities.
There are four major cities within driving distance from Alma: Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Detroit. It is there you’ll find an international airport, and all the amenities that a larger city is able to offer you – without the detriments of living in a larger city.
