The Staffing and Recruitment Manager is a recruitment professional who embodies the highest ethical standards for recruiting, staffing, practice management and business relationships. The Recruiting and Staffing Manager is skilled and able to work in a multi-state/multi-client environment and is responsible for sourcing candidates, reviewing CVs, assessing experience and qualifications, and conducting initial interviews to review experience and evaluate candidates’ interpersonal skills to ensure a “good fit.” The staffing and Recruitment Manager works closely with Regional Directors of Operations to ensure that well-qualified providers are contracted.   

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Three years of successful or relevant experience recruiting healthcare providers. May be waived in lieu of other relevant experience and combination of education.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement creative strategies to source qualified candidates, reduce reliance on agencies and attend trade shows and conferences as requested.
  2. Create accurate postings (e.g., gaswork.com, CCI website and other websites) for recruitment and staffing needs.
  3. Excel at sourcing candidates, reviewing CVs, and assessing experience and qualifications, as well as evaluating candidates’ interpersonal skills during initial interviews to ensure a cultural and job fit.
  4. Respond to agency requests for name clears within 24 hours of request.
  5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with agencies and site personnel, set clear expectations with agencies regarding job requirements for both locums and permanent staffing and then hold locum agencies accountable for the quality and appropriateness of presented candidates.
  6. Send, follow up and file complete candidate information packets;
  7. Work closely with the Regional Director of Operations in proactively projecting locums needs to dovetail with the recruitment of permanent providers and utilization of locums calendars as needed or requested.  
  8. Review locum confirmations for accuracy (e.g., dates, location, rates, special considerations.
  9. Assist with the onboarding of locums and permanent providers.
  10. Present clear and accurate updates during recruitment/credentialing conference calls.

Skills & Abilities:

  1. Strong background in the recruitment of healthcare providers.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office & applicant tracking systems.
  4. Must have a high degree of personal accountability and initiative. 

Work Environment: 

This is a remote role, so it is a standard home office environment.

Travel: 

Ability to travel to recruitment events, company events and meetings. Travel on average would be four times annually, but frequency will be based on overall recruitment and business needs.
