The Business Development Specialist (“Specialist”) is a successful representative who effectively depicts the CCI business development and management services that clients appreciate and rely on. The Specialist has a strong understanding of the process of developing leads for new client relationships, excels at identifying qualified leads and is skilled at building relationships. The Specialist will showcase CCI’s business development and management services in a compelling way and be personable and professional.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior Business Development & Communication work experience.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Business development and marketing support on a weekly basis.

  1. Utilizes the weekly targeted telemarketing priorities and executes telemarketing calls to generate new business leads and build market awareness for CCI and/or NexGen.
  2. Makes contact with at least thirty (35) potential business leads per week.
  3. Works with business development team members to help generate new business that results in new contracts.
  4. Provides weekly updates on sales and marketing activities to the Director and EVP, Business Development.
  5. Responsible for written communications and email follow-up on behalf of CCI and/or NexGen.
  6. Facilitates scheduling appointments for CCI’s and/or NexGen to conduct telephone conferences or on-site meetings with potential client organizations.
  7. Assists with proposal preparation as requested.
  8. Assists in identifying national, regional and targeted email and direct mail campaign opportunities to generate new business leads and build market awareness for CCI and/or NexGen.
  9. Assists in conducting market research and analysis to determine industry/competitive trends and make recommendations regarding sales and marketing strategies to CCI and/or NexGen Executives.
  10. Assists in identifying ongoing branding and positioning strategies for CCI and/or NexGen.

Standard Home Office Environment

Travel

Approximately 1-2 times a year.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $54,000 plus incentive per year.
